Since its launch in 2006 as a pioneer in job and career change information websites specializing in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries and agribusiness industries, Primary Industry Net has provided comprehensive support to people seeking employment or a career change in the primary industries by aggregating job listings and industry information in the agriculture, forestry, fisheries and agribusiness industries.
Japan's agriculture and agribusiness industry has long been complaining about a shortage of young workers, but the number of agricultural production corporations has nearly doubled in the past 10 years, and wages and other benefits have improved across the industry. On the other hand, when it comes to new graduates, as companies' benefits have improved, the image of finding employment in this industry, which is expected to grow, is becoming established, and not only students from agriculture and livestock faculties, but also students from various fields of arts and sciences are choosing this industry as their place of employment (Primary Industry Net, registered user statistics).
